MIGRATION IS NOT A TRAGEDY, BUT WHERE WILL THE PRESIDENT'S SON-IN-LAW "MIGRATE" TO?
My heart goes out to Jamoliddin Nuraliev, the "poor guy" who was removed from his position.
Now, in these tough times, where will he go and what will he do? After all, he has a family to feed and clothe. With the current market prices, with the high cost of flour, oil, and sugar, it's unclear how he will manage. If at least gasoline wasn’t so expensive and bus and trolleybus fares weren’t a concern, he might have found a way out.
Let’s set everything else aside. What about inflation? This cursed inflation has crushed everyone. The experts at the National Bank couldn’t prevent it. It has ruined many lives, but no one at the NBT seems to care, blaming it all on external factors.
That's why I think if Jamoliddin Nuraliev isn't provided with a job, his family's situation will worsen. Or maybe he has saved up his "two-year reserve"? Every year they say, "Save up for two years!" Surely, he believed that?
He's a skilled specialist, but he wasn't appreciated, and now he's jobless and left out on the streets. I imagine he’ll put his American university diploma under his pillow and, like a labor migrant, head to Russia to push carts, sweep streets, or do manual labor. What else can he do? That's the fate of a poor man's child. Didn’t Mr. Muhammadyusuf Imomzoda say that migration is a tragedy, and we shouldn't turn it into one? Well, now admit the depth of this "tragedy"! After all, is it easy and simple to deprive a family of their livelihood?
These days, no one cares about your diploma, education, or experience. If you're not from the same village, not a relative, or if your biography and geography don't match, they'll fire you just like that, leaving you to the will of God. But Jamoliddin, who studied abroad with so much hope—what a pity...
After all, he's not young like Shahboz Rajabzoda, who would receive pity, three houses, three cars, and money abroad; he was completely devoted to his family, which is called sacred. This sanctity is written in the laws, and that too in a country where the rule of law is said to be paramount.
But we heard some news that gave us a bit of hope that he will not be left without a livelihood. There are rumors that he was dismissed to take up another position. Perhaps he will "migrate" to the Ministry of Finance. Or maybe he’ll join some foreign organization like the IRS. After all, that’s a foreign company too!
God willing, that will be the case—why break the spirit and hope of young cadres from poor families? We too would be happy if at least one poor guy is kept from migrating, and one family is not left without a livelihood.
